High-quality NMEA 2000 cable with molded connectors, available with either metal-thread or plastic-thread M12 connectors. Both variants are electrically identical and use the same cable. The cable can be used both as a backbone segment and a drop cable.
Metal-thread connectors offer the most secure and durable mating; plastic-thread connectors are a more economical option for installations where the connectors will not be frequently mated and unmated. Electrically they are identical.
The stated length is the length of the cable without the connectors. The total length including the connectors is approximately 10 cm more.
Note that the maximum allowable length of a drop cable is 6 m.
